Sometimes what we think needs to be a boundary is just because we don’t know what else to do. In truth, a boundary, which has a dotted line to a ‘no’ behind it, could instead be a reframe of possibility, which has a dotted line to a ‘yes’ behind it. If you’re struggling trying to say no, let’s figure out if there is another way that you could look at it so you can say “yes.”
If you have an intention, explore the possibilities of “how.” There’s always a way! It may not be a straight line. It may involve trial and failure. But that is part of the process of moving closer in alignment with our intention. We look at the same thing . . . but differently.
